Why the ass-ugly site?
In an effort to detract from our own god-like faces, we had to bring the site down a notch. Or we aren't web designers... either suits us just fine.
Enough with the egos, how much is it going to set me back?
Quick answer: not sure yet. Our goal is to minimise cost i.e. non-profit. We'll probably need contributions at least for the venue and A/V.
I really hate the schwag bags handed out at industry cons. Please tell me you won't have those?
If so, then it's your lucky day. We probably won't have
anything for free, forget schwag. This means you bring or buy your own food, drink and air (own air preferable not required, just don't go breathing
my air.)
I'm not interested in speaking, can I still attend?

Are all the talks of equals length?
Nope, they range from 15 to 45 minutes. We're still busy with the schedule and will shortly let authors know how long they should gab for.
Why the single day/Saturday?
Primarily we're not sure if ZaCon will fly. (Honesty, how refreshing.) Let's start small, single day single track, and take it from there.
We like the idea of a Saturday since it filters out the "day-off-work" crowd and opens the event to non-infosec professionals.
Why aren't there more FAQs?
Not enough questions being asked about this? That's my guess.
